Holly Hunter was an American actress, who gained fame in the film Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with several awards for her work, including an Oscar. Actresses have a lengthy career of involvement in Broadway off-Broadway, Broadway and various productions. Acting has always been her love of life. When she was in fifth grade, she played Helen Keller in an original play. After suffering from the Mumps, she was deaf in one of the sides of her ear. However, this didn't stop her from pursuing her dream to become an actor. She studied drama at college, and then moved to Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania to New York City to follow her goals. Hunter was introduced to Beth Henley by chance in an lift. Together they composed Broadway Crimes of the Heart. It was Hunter's acting debut. Her first film role came after she relocated to Los Angeles. Since then she has appeared involved in numerous TV shows and movies. Holly Hunter was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star and also the Women in Film Lucy Award.
